During one of my seasons of waiting, I made room for God by reading the Word every morning. This was life changing!
Advent is a season for us to quiet the noise of the world as we remember and reflect on the gift of Jesus, the Light of the World, and prepare our hearts to be transformed by what he has done.
As believers during the season of Advent we are in a season of waiting for all the things that the Lord has promised to bring. Psalm 18 talks about how the Lord takes the darkness in our lives and in his sweet divine nature, turns it into light.
“...for people just waiting. Waiting for a train to go or a bus to come, or a plane to go or the mail to come, or the rain to go or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow or the waiting around for a yes or no or waiting for their hair to grow. Everyone is just waiting.”
