Mandy Wynsma
Mandy Wynsma graduated from Evangel University with an associates degree in Early Childhood Education and Administration, then spent 6 years teaching preschool, kindergarten, and as a preschool director.
Mandy has been serving in Children's Ministry at Living Word Church since 1985...teaching various age children, and eventually serving under Dave and Samantha Prince in "Promiseland". She became a part-time Children's Ministry Coordinator (of 2nd-5th grade) in the spring of 2001. Her primary area of service is administrating "Promiseland" and providing support for the many wonderful volunteers who serve with us each week. Serving the families of Living Word Church is their passion. Along with Kevin, her husband, and their 4 children, they are committed to presenting the gospel to each child that walks through the door, providing a safe environment for the children to build friendships, and nurturing them into a loving relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, with intentional shepherding. Laura Hogan has been working with young children since her teenage years. She received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1983, and worked in Day Care for ten years, beginning as an aide, progressing to teacher, and finishing her career as the schools administrator. She "retired" in 1991 with the birth of her first child.
Laura and her husband, Bob, have been married since 1987, and have two sons, Sean and Patrick. The have been members of Living Word Church since April, 1995.
Laura began teaching Sunday School at Living Word in 1996. she and Bob have taught the k/1 Class together since 1997. She joined the staff as the Children's Ministry Coordinator in June, 2000.
