We believe that every member is a serving minister at Living Word.  Everyone has a part to play in fulfilling the purposes that God has given us!  Membership is not a formality; it's a functional joining to the church fellowship.  Being part boils down to playing your part, and there are many functional, serving opportunities at Living Word. 

 

Three important teams that serve the purposes of God in the church are the Maintenance Team, the Media Masters Team and the Master's Gardeners Team.  Here's a brief description of each:

 

 

The Maintenance Team is led by Carl Lindell.  The Maintenance Team is responsible for upkeep and repair of the church building.  This is a vital volunteer team, since hiring a company to do the repairs would be expensive for the church, and would absorb money that could otherwise be used for ministry in other areas.

 

 

 

 

The Media Masters Team is led by Todd Cosenza.  The Media Masters are responsible for overhead projection during the Sunday morning service.  Team members operate the projection computer and equipment, displaying worship song lyrics, graphics, video and other media during the service as needed.

 

 

 

The Master's Gardeners Team is led by Jill Clark.  The Master's Gardeners Team is responsible for the care and upkeep of the landscape of the church building.  This includes planting flowers in the spring, removal of weeds and keeping the general tidiness of the landscape throughout the year.
