Plug In: Sign Up To Serve

As a church, we are excited by what God is doing both inside and outside our walls--he is at work and on the move! We are a church that believes in living out what God is doing and we would love to have you join us as we seek to follow God in mission in all areas of our lives!

If you are looking for a way to get involved in serving at Living Word Church, please fill out the form below and we'll connect you to the right ministry. Once you fill this out, expect to hear back from the relevant ministry leader within 10 days. Some ministries may require further interviews with ministry leaders and background checks. Thanks for being a part of things!

My Sister's House

This informal gathering will offer the women of LWC the opportunity to get together and just BE. As the name implies, it will be a place that you can go and know that you are welcomed, you are loved and you are free to be you! We may play board games or we may talk and encourage one another for the night.

This comfy, relaxing gathering will be held on the 2nd Friday of each month at 7pm at the home of a different sister each month. Everyone is encouraged to bring an appetizer, snack, dessert  or beverage. There will be a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center on Sunday so we know how many to expect.

Next location to be announced soon.

See Kare Lindell with questions.

"Out of the Wilderness"

RESCHEDULED!
Due to the prediction of a rainy evening, this special fall women's gathering, inspired by the Hebrew festival of booths, will be held at the home of Kare Lindell (17841 S. Paxton, Lansing, IL) on Friday, October 13th at 7pm.

Special Fall Women's Gathering Inspired by the Hebrew Festival of Booths.
Join us as we gather around a bonfire and reflect on when we were in the Wilderness (with or without God) and share our testimonies of how God brought us out of the Wilderness!
We'll gather in the backyard, so bring a lawn chair and a fall snack or dessert. Camping is also available. A Pop-up camper will be available (see Jill Watterson if interested) or feel free to set up your own booth (tent).

Please RSVP on the LWC Ladies Page or sign up at the Welcome Center by Oct. 8. Don't miss this special evening!
