Remembering Chuck Pals

Chuck Pals, our dear friend and brother in Christ, went to be with the Lord December 17, 2015. His 73 years of life represent a profound testimony of the grace of God and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. His priority and deep love for his family cause their grief to be heavy, but they take great joy in the promise of God’s salvation. His passion for the local church and heart for the nations have inspired us all.

Chuck was the founding pastor of Living Word and by extension the four churches that we call LifeLink Chicago. He carried the vision of church planting to a generation who would have the privilege to implement that vision and see it become a reality. The goal was to see many come to the Lord, find joy in the community of God’s people and give themselves with a single-minded zeal for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. He will be deeply missed.

Below are the notes from Chuck's last journal entry and a sermon he recently preached. We have included them here because they are a helpful reminder of the heart that Chuck carried for his Lord Jesus and the church.
